Awkward Bruce and Dr. Strange
So it's been a while and it's mainly because of work but I also am trying to make videos of the games I'm currently playing. I have all the software for capturing and editing, but finding the time and motivation is really hard.
I could talk about the election but I only want to allude to these things with comic/pop-culture/video game parallels and metaphors, so I won't. All I can say is that it was close and it was interesting.
Anyways, the video I have here today comes from Telltale's Batman series. I decided to go silent Bruce and Batman at all times and instead of mysterious, it just borders on awkward turtle. I'll try to make more cuts, but I wanted to just test the waters. The editing is still really shaky but I'll try to get better, I promise. The jump cuts were meant to be, I promise!

In other news, I did watch Marvel's Dr. Strange this past weekend. It was a good, solid movie but I am no way familiar with Dr. Strange, his origins, or his powers. So it was nice to learn about a superhero on the big screen rather than try and compare to their paperback brethren.
[Spoilers...kinda!]
I still don't get why Stephen Strange couldn't heal his hands and save the world. I mean there are so many books and spells, at least one of them had to be a heal spell. Maybe I'm coming from my stubborn jRPG roots, but a mage should be able to heal. It's like the first spell they learn. Or could it be that Marvel is sexist and only promotes the terrible idea that only women fit the bill of healers?
I think they tried to explain this by saying the dude who healed his legs is using all his magic to keep his legs moving, but he was like a foot soldier. I'm sure if he rose a few more ranks he would be able to have permanently healed his condition.
Anyways, hope you like the video! Enjoy!
