Terraria
So I’ve been getting into this game called Terreria. I bought it last night and played with a few friends and immediately fell in love with the game. It’s randomly generated (a bit structured as to where the different worlds are), multiplayer, and totally customizable. Making weapons and items is so much fun and gives action and pacing to an otherwise 2D minecraft clone. I don’t know what’s with me, but I feel like everything is better in 2D. Makes me feel safe I guess. The gist of the game is as follows: Mine, cut, break, and find things to build your town and continue your journey to…finish the journey….whatever it may be. The game plays just like minecraft down to the night and day mechanic where in the latter zombies come to kill you. You start off just trying to make your own house to protect you from the night invasions, slowly you build up to towns and villages where NPC inhabit your house if it is indeed habitable (can’t forget the chair!!).
